AI Policy

ZeroSEO is built around AI, and we think you should know exactly how it's used on your account. This page covers that in plain language; our Privacy Policy covers data handling more broadly, and our Terms of Service §6 covers your rights and responsibilities around AI-generated content.

1. How We Use AI

ZeroSEO uses AI to research your competitors and target keywords, build your rolling content plan, and draft and publish SEO-optimized articles to your website. AI also assists with structuring articles for search engines and AI answer engines, and with matching your site to relevant backlink opportunities. We do not use AI to make billing, account, or moderation decisions about you.

2. What Data Is Sent to AI Providers

As disclosed in our Privacy Policy, article research and generation is processed through Azure OpenAI. The site details, keywords, and competitor research needed to draft on-brand articles are sent to that provider so it can generate your content. Per Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service data handling commitments, this data is not used to train the underlying models.

3. Accuracy and Limitations

AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or factual errors, and we do not guarantee specific search rankings or traffic outcomes. Always review published articles before relying on any factual, legal, medical, or financial claim they contain, and before treating them as a substitute for professional advice.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • You're responsible for reviewing content before or after it publishes to your site.
  • You're responsible for complying with any AI-content disclosure obligations that apply in your jurisdiction or industry.
  • Don't direct the Service to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or fraudulent — see our Terms of Service §5.

5. Content Ownership

You own the articles generated and published to your site through the Service, the same as any other content on your website. Our AI providers process your data to generate that output — they don't retain rights to it.

6. Changes to This Policy

We'll update the effective date above whenever this policy changes, including if we change AI providers in a way that affects what data is shared or how.
